We had an incredible time in Memphis with all of the kids for our renewal. Eddie Sharp made it in Thursday night after an afternoon of delays caused by high winds in Austin and Dallas. It was great to have him be a part of the weekend, although we missed having his better half, Annette, with us. Matthew had to stay for classes on Friday, and had to be evacuated to the basement at MTSU during his 11:30 class because a tornado was hitting Murfreesboro. He got on the road just as it was being closed down as a tornado was crossing I24. Thankfully he was able to get through the hail storm in tact (his car, though battered, had no damage) and made it to Memphis just in time for the last pictures and the renewal ceremony.
