We had a busy month with company from Abilene the second week of March and Mendy's visit during her spring break the week after that. We actually had a realtor show us through two houses that were quite a way out. They looked good on paper but had some structural issues besides needing the occupants to be in top physical condition to get around in either of the yards. We found out what we didn't want in a hurry!
We looked at four houses this past Friday afternoon that were in four different directions. They were a bit more promising but still not exactly what we're looking for. One came really close, but it had a very small Master closet and vinyl flooring in the Master bathroom. Every house we looked at had the plastic one-piece tub/shower surrounds in the second bathrooms. The separate showers in the Master baths were plastic as well....guess it was a cost and time saving measure when housing was booming here. The new construction homes have tile but much smaller rooms or less living space...We'll keep looking...
